Frederick Livingston Morse

Morse, Frederick Livingston of Barnhart, Missouri, was born May 26, 1937, in Waltham, Massachusetts to Irving O. and Mae Louise (Vaughn) Morse and entered into rest Thursday, October 17, 2024, in Barnhart, Missouri at the age of 87 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Irving O. and Mae Louise (Vaughn) Morse; brothers, Irving O. Morse Jr. and George H. Morse.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Mary Ann Morse; children Linda King and Vicky (Ken) Akins; grandchildren Brian Weisler, Craig Morse, Nickole (Sam) Hosang, Sara Akins, Susan (Nick) Modglin, and Xander Akins; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous other nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Frederick was a man of great pride and dedication. He served his country with honor as a member of the United States Army. His commitment to hard work continued throughout his career as a pipefitter with Laborers Union 42, where his skill and dedication left a lasting impression. Above all, Frederick’s greatest love was for his family, whom he cherished with all his heart. His legacy of service, hard work, and deep family devotion will be remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary – Robert Brown Chapel, 103 4th St. Hillsboro, MO 63050. Service will be Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary – Robert Brown Chapel, Interment will immediately follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri.
